1. What did you think of Mr. Hayden?
I thought he was an interesting person. He's met many famous people, like Ceasar Chavez and Malcolm X.
2. Tom Hayden does not think of himself as a civil rights leader. Do you see him as one? Why or why not?
I think he's not a civil right leader, but I think he's a leader, because he was helping blacks to vote and planning sit-ins.
3. Tom Hayden feels that leaders are not as importnat as hundreds of thousands of people behind them. What does he mean by that?
I think he means, the people that are protesting are getting the word out, but the leaders, just have to say what they think about the problem, but the people can protest and get asked more questions that the leaders.
